Notetaking (Rapporteur) Services

Dr. Dakin provides professional notetaking (rapporteur) services for scientific conferences and workshops. She takes detailed notes on presentations and panel discussions and provides a summary in the form of a written report. As requested, she also facilitates drafting of reports by participants during conferences.

She confers with clients on the following aspects of each assignment:

• level of detail for the report
• report format
• report organization (chronological or topic)
• identification of speakers
• editorial and writing style
• availability of reference materials

Depending on the length of the conference and the type of report desired, the report usually can be delivered about a week after the end of the conference. Reports can be provided in hard copy and/or electronic form.
